Production Operative

Sterling Recruitment Services are now recruiting for a Laboratory Production Operative to support laboratory testing, product development and production activities for our client’s technology business based in Middlesbrough.

Working alongside experienced scientists and engineers, you will assist with experiments, sample preparation and testing, while helping ensure laboratory and production operations run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with laboratory experiments and the development of innovative construction materials.

* Prepare and test samples in line with company and client requirements.

* Support scientific testing and production activities.

* Accurately record and maintain laboratory data.

* Maintain a clean, safe and organised laboratory and working environment.

* Manage stock levels and ensure materials and supplies are readily available.

* Work closely with colleagues across different departments.

Skills & Experience Required

* Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, and confident using email.

* Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Comfortable with manual handling and general housekeeping duties.

* Good organisational and stock control skills.

* Full UK driving licence

Desirable (but not essential):

* Valid FLT licence
