Civil Engineer (all levels)

NegotiableFareham, England Permanent Our client, a fast-growing and award-winning Civil Engineering and Transport Planning consultancy, is currently seeking Civil Engineers at all levels to join their dynamic highways team. This is an exciting permanent opportunity to work on a range of fast-paced and complex schemes across various clients.Key Responsibilities:Design of drainage systems, highway layouts, and S278/S38 schemesUndertake design work in accordance with Sewers for Adoption, building regulations, and the SuDS ManualEnsure high-quality drawing packages are produced consistentlyManage client interactions for designated aspects of projectsSupport senior team members with project completionMentor and train junior staff membersCollaborate closely with local authorities, developers, and architectsAttend client meetings and undertake site visits as necessaryJob Requirements:Proficiency in AutoCAD and Site 3D or equivalent 3D softwareExperience in drainage design and SuDS implementationStrong understanding of relevant standards and codes such as Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, and Manual for StreetsHND, BEng, MEng, or MSc in Civil EngineeringWorking towards or holding professional accreditation with the ICEExperience within a civil engineering consultancy, working with various stakeholdersAbility and willingness to learn various engineering softwareProficiency in preparing and reviewing technical reports (e.g., Flood Risk Assessments)Benefits:Opportunity to work in a dynamic and expanding teamProfessional development and training opportunitiesA supportive and collaborative working environmentExposure to a variety of projects, enhancing professional growthInvolvement in the full project lifecycle, from pre-application to condition dischargeIf you are an experienced Civil Engineer looking to join a thriving consultancy and make a significant impact within the highways sector, we would love to hear from you.
