Staff Nurse Night
Location: Bradford
Salary: £22.50 per hour including paid breaks
Vacancy Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 12 hr shifts
Job Summary
They are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join their healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care within a clinical setting, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of all patients. Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with mobility, and supporting daily activities.
* Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, adhering to established protocols.
* Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Assist medical staff during examinations and procedures as needed.
* Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
* Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the nursing station and patient areas to uphold hygiene standards.
* Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies with professionalism and compassion.
Qualifications
* Recognised nursing qualification
* Proven experience in patient care within a clinical environment is desirable.
* Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
* Proficiency in medication administration, including understanding dosage calculations and safety procedures.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathise with patients from diverse backgrounds.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
