Operating across commercial, educational, industrial, and public-sector environments, the business delivers high-quality heating, mechanical, and electrical services throughout Bristol, the Southwest, and Wales.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems across a variety of commercial sites including offices, retail units, industrial facilities, schools, and public buildings.
This role would suit a skilled engineer who takes pride in delivering high standards of workmanship, can work independently, and always provides excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, and repair commercial gas appliances and heating systems Diagnose faults and carry out repairs safely and efficiently Complete commercial gas installations and system upgrades Ensure all work complies with current Gas Safety regulations and industry standards Accurately complete job reports, certification, and service documentation Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and site personnel Maintain high standards of health & safety on all projects Deliver reactive and planned maintenance works across commercial environments Requirements Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively Excellent communication and customer-facing skills Good understanding of commercial heating systems and plant Full UK Driving Licence Qualifications Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications including CODNCO1 / COCN1 or equivalent Gas Safe Registered Additional HVAC or mechanical qualifications beneficial Health & Safety certifications advantageous Whats on Offer Salary circa £48,000 with overtime opportunities available Company vehicle, fuel card, and tools provided Ongoing training and career development opportunities Pension scheme Paid holidays Stable, long-term workload across the South West Supportive and professional working environment Opportunity to join a highly accredited and expanding M&E contractor Company Description An established and highly respected Building Services and M&E contractor specialising in the installation, servicing, maintenance, and design of commercial mechanical and electrical systems across Bristol, the Southwest, and Wales.
