PERMANENT FULL TIME ESTIMATOR REQUIRED

Power Earthing Estimator Contract: Full-time, Permanent Omega Red Group is a leading provider of earthing, lightning protection, and power engineering solutions across the UK. We are seeking a skilled Power Earthing Estimator to join our growing team. This role is critical in supporting the delivery of technically robust, commercially competitive proposals for major infrastructure, utilities, renewable energy, and industrial projects. You will work closely with engineering, design, and commercial teams to develop accurate costings, assess technical requirements, and ensure our solutions meet industry standards and client expectations. Prepare detailed estimates for earthing and power engineering projects, including materials, labour, plant, subcontractor costs, and risk allowances. Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and site information to determine project scope and required earthing solutions. Conduct site assessments (where required) to gather data influencing design and cost. Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and validate pricing. Support project handover by communicating estimate details to delivery teams. Maintain and update cost databases, pricing models, and estimation tools. Identify commercial risks and opportunities within tender packages. Background in earthing, power engineering, electrical contracting, or utilities infrastructure. Strong understanding of earthing system design principles, soil resistivity, and installation methods. Experience using estimating software or cost‑management tools.
