Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Long-Term

We are currently recruiting compassionate and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) for long-term, ongoing agency assignments in Bath, Somerset.

This is an excellent opportunity for nurses seeking consistent work, regular shifts and the flexibility of agency employment, with opportunities for ongoing placements.

You will play a key role in providing high-quality mental health care and support to individuals with a range of mental health conditions, ensuring their safety, dignity and wellbeing at all times.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality, person-centred mental health nursing care.

* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.

* Monitor patients' mental health and respond appropriately to changes in their condition.

* Administer medication safely and monitor its effectiveness.

* Support individuals experiencing mental health crises and periods of distress.

* Carry out risk assessments and implement appropriate risk management plans.

* Use effective de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.

* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals.

* Promote recovery, independence, dignity and patient wellbeing.

* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, infection control and clinical policies.

Essential Requirements

* Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.

* Previous experience working within a mental health setting.

* Strong knowledge of mental health conditions and relevant care practices.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.

* Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk assessment.

* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

* Right to work in the UK.
