I am working with a growing accountancy firm looking to hire a Senior Tax Manager to lead their established tax function.

This is a good opportunity for someone to have full autonomy to shape and develop the tax offering, lead an existing team, build senior client relationships and play a key role in the continued commercial growth of the department.

The firm has an established client base, with a strong focus on owner-managed and entrepreneurial businesses and is looking for someone who can combine strong technical knowledge with commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead coach and develop an established tax team
• Act as a trusted adviser to business owners, founders and senior decision-makers
• Lead complex advisory conversations and provide practical, commercially focused tax advice
• Identify additional advisory opportunities across the wider client base
• Review complex work and provide oversight across a tax portfolio
• Take ownership of the commercial performance of the Tax function

About you:

• CTA qualified or qualified by experience
• An experienced Tax Manager within an accountancy practice
• Strong experience within Corporation tax
• Experience working with hospitality or leisure clients
• Experience advising owner-managed and entrepreneurial businesses
• Motivated individual keen to take ownership of a team and help shape and grow a Tax department
