Highway Maintenance Scheduler Chester Area £30.00 per hour PAYE 40 hours per week Minimum 3-Month Contract Immediate Start Available We are currently recruiting for an experienced Highway Maintenance Scheduler to support a busy highways asset maintenance contract based in the Chester area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established operational team working within a fast-paced highways maintenance environment, coordinating reactive, cyclic and planned maintenance activities across the network.

The successful candidate will play a key role in scheduling works, allocating operational resources, monitoring live activities and ensuring client response times are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities: Planning and scheduling reactive, planned and cyclic highway maintenance works Managing live work programmes and responding to urgent client requests Allocating labour, plant and operational resources effectively Coordinating traffic management and permit requirements Monitoring programme performance and identifying resourcing issues Liaising with operational teams, supervisors and stakeholders Supporting highway emergency and potentially winter maintenance responses Updating electronic scheduling systems and producing reports Using systems such as Confirm and StreetManager Candidate Requirements: Previous experience within highways maintenance, asset maintenance or reactive works environments Experience scheduling operational or maintenance activities Knowledge of permits, TTRO processes and traffic management coordination Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to work effectively within xwzovoh a fast-paced operational environment Good IT skills including Microsoft Office Experience using Confirm, Symology Aurora or StreetManager would be advantageous Whats On Offer: Up to £30.00 per hour PAYE 40-hour working week Minimum 3-month contract with potential extension 25 days holiday plus 8 statutory days (pro rata) Immediate start available Opportunity to work on a busy and long-term highways maintenance contract Due to the urgency of this requirement, applications are encouraged as soon as possible.
