HR Administrator – Secondary School | Greenwich | September Start 📍 Location: Greenwich, London 🏫 Setting: Secondary School 📅 Start Date: September 2026 💷 Salary: £17.38 per hour Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking to build a career in Human Resources? We are working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Greenwich that is seeking an HR Administrator to join their team from September. Previous HR experience is desirable, but we are also keen to hear from strong administrators who are looking to transition into a school-based HR role. The Role: Provide administrative support to the HR department. Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and pre-employment compliance checks. Prepare contracts, letters, and other HR documentation. Support the maintenance of the Single Central Record and safer recruitment processes. Respond to HR queries from staff professionally and confidentially. Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and wider administrative staff. The Ideal Candidate: Previous HR administration experience is desirable but not essential. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to prioritise a busy workload and work independently. An interest in developing a career within Human Resources in an educational setting.
