About the role
We’re Hiring: Sheet Metal Worker / Structural Fitter – Prestwick
Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Worker or Structural Fitter looking for your next contract opportunity in the aviation industry? We are currently recruiting for skilled contractors to join a busy aircraft maintenance programme based in Prestwick.
Location: Prestwick
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Length: 6 Months
Rate: £28.00 per hour
Hours: 40–60 hours per week available
Outside IR35
The Role:
Successful candidates will be carrying out structural and sheet metal work on a range of exterior aircraft components including:
• Radomes
• Aircraft doors
• Wings
• Other structural and exterior assemblies
Requirements:
Candidates must have previous workshop/component repair experience within the aerospace or aviation sector. Experience working to engineering drawings and carrying out structural repairs is highly desirable.
This is a great opportunity to secure long-term contract work with strong hours available and an immediate start.
