They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team.About the Role You will support the commercial management of mechanical and electrical projects, taking responsibility for procurement, valuations, change control, cost reporting and subcontractor accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesManage subcontractor procurement and commercial evaluationsPrepare valuations, payment applications and cost reportsIdentify, price and manage variationsComplete measurements and take-offs from drawingsMaintain CVRs, forecasts and commercial recordsAssess subcontractor applications and prepare payment recommendationsSupport contract administration and commercial correspondenceAttend project and commercial meetingsAssist with final accounts and project close-outSkills and ExperienceQuantity surveying experience within constructionM&E or specialist subcontractor experience would be beneficialStrong numerical and commercial skillsGood knowledge of Excel and cost reportingAbility to manage multiple packages and deadlinesClear communication and negotiation skillsBenefitsPermanent position within an established M&E contractorExposure to multiple building services projectsSupport from an experienced commercial teamOpportunity to manage projects across the full commercial lifecycleClear scope for professional development
