Contract typePermanentSalaryNegotiableReferenceBBBH Location:LondonRevenue & Billing AnalystMy client in the rail transportation industry are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Revenue & Billing Analyst to join their growing team in London. This role plays a key part in managing customer billing processes, supporting revenue reporting, and helping to optimise cash flow and financial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesBilling & Accounts ReceivableSet up and maintain customer accounts, ensuring compliance checks are completedManage and update multi-currency billing schedulesGenerate invoices, credit notes, and ad hoc billing, including usage-based chargesSupport monthly billing cycles and collaborate with stakeholders for approvalsMonitor cash collections and record incoming paymentsAdminister customer direct debitsPrepare regular ageing reports with clear commentary and insightsBuild effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholdersRevenue Recognition & ReportingPerform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations related to revenueSupport month-end reporting, including accruals and provisionsAssist in preparing revenue reports, including variance and trend analysisAnalyse operational metrics impacting revenue and provide commentaryPrepare calculations and supporting documentation for revenue adjustments and recharge modelsSupport audit requests and ensure appropriate documentation is maintainedContribute to reporting on asset utilisation and contractual changesAbout YouProven experience (around 3+ years) in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue-focused rolesStrong Excel skills and confidence working with financial dataExcellent attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical abilityStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlinesEffective communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders at all levelsProactive, curious, and continuously seeking process improvementsA collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural environmentAbility to take ownership and drive tasks independentlyDesirableExperience with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365)Exposure to complex billing environments or asset-based industriesWe are happy to provide application and/or accessibility support, please contact your Marks Sattin or Grafton consultant directly to discuss your needs.
