Salary: £35,000–£38,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week

Working pattern: 4:1 office/WFH

We are looking for a highly organised, approachable and proactive Office & HR Coordinator to join a small, mission-led charity doing incredible work and making a meaningful difference to the lives of others. This is a varied, hands-on role providing administrative, HR and office coordination support. You will work closely with senior colleagues and a small, close-knit team, helping to ensure the organisation operates efficiently and that staff feel supported.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to senior colleagues.
  • Manage calls, emails, correspondence and filing systems.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, events and training.
  • Support diary management, action tracking and preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, inductions and DBS checks.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and support absence and leave administration.
  • Respond to routine HR queries and liaise with external HR advisers.
  • Coordinate office facilities, contractors, supplies and equipment.
  • Support health & safety and compliance processes.
  • Help maintain a welcoming, organised and professional working environment.

About you

You will have:

  • Experience in an administrative, office or coordination role.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work proactively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • A flexible, reliable and team-focused approach.
  • Ideally, some experience of HR administration or employment processes.
  • Experience within a charity, education, care or other purpose-led organisation would be advantageous.
