Paralegal (temporary)
Venn Group’s specialist Private Practice Legal Recruitment team is recruiting a temporary Paralegal for a highly regarded law firm in York. The role offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your legal experience and would suit someone who is immediately available on a full-time basis and has previous legal experience within a law firm.
The role
You will be responsible for:
- Acting as the primary contact for clients, ensuring smooth and efficient transaction progress by facilitating communication between clients, fee earners, and support staff
- The position supports a wide range of legal settings, combining fee-earning and administrative duties such as managing caseloads, drafting legal documents, reviewing case materials, and preparing or distributing financial records
- The potential to progress a broad range of commercial property plot sales matters from instruction to completion
About you
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience providing administrative support to a busy Commercial Property plot sales team within private practice, however general legal experience may also be considered.

- Hourly rate: £12.71 - £14.00 per hour
- Location: York
- Contract: Temporary
- Start: Week commencing 5th October
- Initial length of assignment: Week commencing 5th October – 27th November with the potential of extension
