Chemistry Teacher

Key Responsibilities * Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons to GCSE standard, ensuring all students receive an engaging and personalised learning experience. * Plan and implement a stimulating Science curriculum that supports academic progress and develops students’ understanding of scientific concepts. * Differentiate lessons effectively to meet the needs of all learners, including students with SEND and varying abilities. * Monitor, assess, and track student progress, using data to inform planning and raise attainment. * Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour, respect, and a love of learning. * Contribute to the wider Science department, collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and raise standards across the faculty. * Support students’ social and emotional wellbeing, helping to create a safe and nurturing school culture. * Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, school events, and extra-curricular activities. * Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
