About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation within the film, television and media production sector. Known for delivering high-quality technical equipment and services, the business operates at scale and supports productions across the UK and internationally.
An opportunity has arisen for a Repairs & Engineering Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced technical environment, supporting the efficient flow of equipment through the repairs process.

This role is key to ensuring repair operations run smoothly, with a strong focus on organisation, accuracy, and coordination. Responsibilities include:
- Managing and tracking repair jobs from intake through to completion
- Logging and updating repair tickets with accurate data
- Coordinating with internal departments, suppliers, and external repair partners
- Monitoring turnaround times and prioritising urgent repairs
- Managing spare parts stock and availability
- Maintaining accurate system records and documentation
- Supporting cost tracking and billable repairs
- Identifying and escalating uneconomical repairs
- Helping to ensure efficient day-to-day workshop operations
The ideal candidate will be:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A clear and confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Able to learn new systems quickly (experience with inventory or job tracking systems is beneficial)
- Calm under pressure with a flexible, problem-solving approach
- Reliable and adaptable, with a willingness to support the wider team
An interest in the film, television, or lighting industry would be advantageous but is not essential. xwzovoh

Working Hours
This role is based on-site, working a 40-hour week, typically between 8:30am and 5:30pm. Flexibility is required, including occasional weekends or extended hours depending on business needs.
