Class 1 Drivers Required - Royal Mail Greenford Peak Coverage Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain Location: Green Park Way, Greenford, UB6 0GG Role: LGV / HGV Class 1 Driver - C+E Contract Type: Peak coverage only - temporary / seasonal work, not permanent Pay Rates: £24.49 - £27.61 per hour depending on shift Start: Immediate / peak period cover available We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for peak coverage work within the Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain sector at Royal Mail Greenford, based at Green Park Way, Greenford, UB6 0GG. Please note: this is temporary peak coverage work only and is not a permanent position. Shifts will be offered based on operational demand during the busy peak period. Pay Rates & Shifts Available ShiftShift DetailsPay Rate DaysDay shifts£24.49 per hour Dawn ShiftStarts between 02:01 - 04:00£25.53 per hour Early 05:00Starts between 04:01 - 05:00£25.03 per hour Early 05:30Starts between 05:01 - 05:30£24.76 per hour EveningFinishes between 20:00 - 21:39£25.27 per hour LatesFinishes between 21:40 - 01:59£26.14 per hour NightsMinimum 3 hours across 23:00 - 05:00£27.61 per hour Driver Requirements To be considered, drivers must: Hold a UK issued Class 1 / C+E licence for at least 12 months Have at least 180 days / 6 months Class 1 driving experience within the past year Hold a valid and up-to-date Digital Tachograph card Hold a valid and up-to-date Driver CPC card Have no more than 6 points on their driving licence Licence codes will be checked and must meet Royal Mail/Pertemps acceptance criteria Confirm whether they have worked for Royal Mail previously If previously worked at Royal Mail, a re-hire check will need to be completed before being put forward If they have previously attended a Royal Mail assessment, previous assessment findings must be checked before re-submission Duties Will Include Class 1 trunking work Depot-to-depot deliveries Supporting peak period logistics and distribution operations Completing daily vehicle checks Following Royal Mail site procedures Complying with tachograph and working time regulations Maintaining a professional and safe driving standard Apply Now If you meet the above requirements and are available for temporary peak coverage work, please apply today. hgvlp
