As Director of Pricing & Inventory, you will be the commercial architect behind how Motorsport Network monetizes its global content, media and events portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of data, strategy, and revenue and will be responsible for maximizing advertising and commercial revenue by managing digital ad inventory supply, setting rate cards, and optimizing yield across every platform and monetizable product the Network operates.
You will own the Global Rate Card across every major revenue category: Events, Media (including an understanding of Programmatic), Data, Branded Content, Social, Email Newsletters, Podcasts, and all other monetizable efforts across Motorsport Network’s global footprint. This means not just setting prices, but building and maintaining the pricing infrastructure, yield logic, and commercial frameworks that allow a high-performing global sales team to close business efficiently and at maximum value.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role with cross-functional reach into Finance, Marketing, Business Development, Global Sales, Client Solutions, Editorial, the Motorsport Content Hub, and Country Managers. What We’re Looking ForEssential
- 5+ years of experience in ad operations, revenue management, yield optimization, or commercial pricing within a digital media, publishing, and/ or advertising technology environment
- Demonstrated ownership of rate cards, inventory management systems, or pricing strategy at a multi-platform media property
- Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic (open marketplace, PMP, PG), direct-sold premium, and branded content monetization models
- Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in revenue reporting, inventory forecasting, and building pricing models; comfort working in data platforms, ad servers, and BI tools
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally across sales, finance, product, and editorial teams, influencing without direct authority
- Clear, structured communicator who can translate pricing complexity into simple frameworks for sales teams and executive stakeholders
Highly Valued
- Experience at a premium sport, motorsport, automotive, or enthusiast media property, preferably with a global footprint
- Familiarity with events-based commercial models and the pricing mechanics of sponsorship, hospitality, and experiential packages
- Experience building or overhauling a global rate card from the ground up, including market benchmarking and discount governance frameworks
- Knowledge of first-party data monetization, audience extension, and data licensing as commercial products
- Comfort operating in a globally distributed, fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where structure is built, not inherited
- Genuine interest in motorsport and high-performance automotive culture understanding the audience is a meaningful advantage in this role

Compensation: up to $150k - Compensation package will depend on experience and training.
