Design Manager - Hospitality Interiors

Design Manager | Hospitality & Leisure Projects Gloucestershire | Hybrid | 4 Days Office & 1 Day Home Working A growing hospitality and leisure business is looking to appoint a Design Manager to lead its in-house design function during an exciting period of expansion and investment. Working closely with senior project and operational stakeholders, you'll oversee the design and delivery of refurbishment, development and interior fit-out projects across a portfolio of premium hospitality and leisure venues. The role will manage a small team of design professionals and play a key role in shaping guest experience, design standards and brand consistency. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop an in-house design team of 3-4 professionals Manage hospitality refurbishment and development projects from concept to delivery Review and approve design schemes, specifications and drawings Ensure consistency of brand standards across all projects Collaborate with project, development and operational teams Manage relationships with external architects, consultants and suppliers Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the design function Balance operational requirements, guest experience and commercial objectives About You: Interior Design, Architectural Design or similar background Experience managing people or mentoring junior team members Hospitality, hotel, leisure, retail or commercial interiors experience Strong stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously CAD literacy and experience reviewing technical drawings What's on Offer: Hybrid working (4 days office / 1 day WFH) Opportunity to shape and lead a growing design team Diverse portfolio of hospitality and leisure projects Long-term career progression Collaborative and supportive culture For a confidential discussion, please get in touch with Lucy Wynn at Gleeson Recruitment Group.
