Full-Time Teaching Assistant – EYFS/SEN Support
Start day- June 2026
We are looking for a dedicated and committed Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide support for a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within an Early Years setting.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm (30-minute lunch break)
Pay: £14.25 per hour
The role:
You will be supporting a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and helping them access learning and daily activities within the school environment. This is a rewarding role requiring patience, consistency, and a caring approach.
Requirements:
A Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
Previous experience working within EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) is essential
Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD, is required
Comfortable carrying out personal care as part of the role
Patient, nurturing, and able to build positive relationships
Reliable and committed, with a willingness to provide consistent support for the child
A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing
We are looking for someone who can make a long-term commitment and provide a stable, supportive presence for the child and wider school community.
