Who are we looking for?

Due to exciting commercial success and growth a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Roadside / Recovery Breakdown Technician to cover the Spalding area on a 24/7 call out basis, working from home.

*Due to this role being home based you must have the faculties to keep the recovery vehicle or van at home.

What will you be doing?

Your role will be attending broken down vehicles and carrying out roadside diagnostics and repair. You will have strong motor vehicle repair knowledge and have a good problem solving mind-set to effect temporary repairs where required.

You will be provided with your own service van, the service van will also have an RDT (rapid deployment trailer) for recovering vehicles that cannot be fixed, and therefore experience towing a trailer would be an advantage although towing training could be arranged.

Tears of Sutton Bridge provides a specialist recovery service from their depots in King’s Lynn, Spalding and Sutton Bridge and pride themselves on their excellent customer service and reputation.

We do require the successful candidate to undergo and pass an enhanced DBS check.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Employment type: Full Time Permanent

Hours: The position is a 6 on 3 off rota on a 24 hour callout from home basis
