Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Psychiatrist to join our Addictions service in Aberdeen City, delivering exceptional care for patients at Royal Cornhill Hospital. The position supports a hybrid work model, with a primary on‑site presence at the hospital.

Qualifications

• UK‑trained psychiatrists with evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT, or within 6 months of confirmed entry on the GMC Specialist Register.
• CER (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) or Portfolio Pathway holders eligible for a substantive Consultant post only after specialist registration is awarded.
• Internationally recognised specialist qualifications approved by the GMC, with confirmed entry on the GMC Specialist Register.
• Full registration with a licence to practice with the GMC is required before starting.
