Deputy Manager Residential Care

Location: Pemberton Fold Care Home Hours: 40 hours per week (Full Time) Salary: From £31,000 per year (salary dependent on experience) Join Our Team at Pemberton Fold Care Home Pemberton Fold Care Home is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and experienced Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day management of our home.

Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional care in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day management of the care home.

Lead, motivate, and develop the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, company policies, and all relevant legislation.

Assist with staff recruitment, induction, training, and supervision.

Support care planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes.

Promote a positive culture focused on dignity, respect, and resident wellbeing.

Assist with staffing, rota management, and occupancy where required.

Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.

Act as Registered Manager in their absence.

What We're Looking For Previous experience in a senior care role, such as Deputy Manager, Team Leader, or Senior Carer.

A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care as a minimum (Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards it, is desirable).

Strong leadership and communication skills.

A sound understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding, and person-centred care.

Experience supervising and developing staff.

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

A positive, compassionate approach and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care.
