This is a position for someone with experience in social value and/or impact evaluation to play a key role in our exciting business and to help shape and improve communities and wider society. You’ll have the opportunity to work on some high-profile commissions in London, Liverpool and nationally.

What You'll Do
- Develop social value strategies and action plans, turning these into meaningful activity on the ground and overseeing delivery
- Support clients to understand, optimise and measure the social impact of their projects and programmes
- Research and analyse data on local needs and opportunities
- Assess the social impact of projects, programmes and policies through Social Return on Investment (SROI) studies and other impact analyses
- Facilitate engagement with stakeholders, including community organisations and residents
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations and client-facing documents
- Build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to business development, marketing and thought leadership activities
Experience
- At least two years' experience in a relevant field such as social value or impact measurement, ideally within a consultancy
- An understanding of Social Return on Investment (SROI) or other evaluation methodologies

- Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- The ability to build positive long-term relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders
It may also help if you have a relevant degree or professional qualification, for example in human geography, economics or social science and/or a practitioner-level qualification in social value
You'll ideally be based within the Liverpool City Region, or within around an hour's commute of Liverpool City Centre; close enough to keep travel time manageable and your carbon footprint in check.

Salary
£30-35,000 (depending on experience)
