You'll combine people management with hands-on proficiency in Jenkins, ArgoCD, AWS/Kubernetes, Terraform, and DevSecOps/GitOps practices. Main dutiesLine Management of a cross location team (onsite / nearshore)People development, performance, knowledge and skills managementOptimizing team ways of workingFostering a sense of ownership and collaboration with other department teamsUnderstanding development teams needs and designing CI/CD solutions (Java/Springboot stack)Driving observability, reliability and software development technologies adoption in the departmentMaintaining, architecting and evolving our development environment to improve efficiency and productivityCollaboration with ops team on technology adoption in higher environmentsOwning, improving and architecting build pipelinesEnsuring maintenance of our Jenkins clusterProactively coordinating with tech leadership and peersBreaking down work programs into phases and actionable work itemsDriving refinements, prioritizing workArbitrage of project work VS ad-hoc requestsRoadmap planningAbout youMust haveExperience managing senior Individual contributors across locationsProven track record of onboarding and adapting to new technologiesStrong ownership mindset with effective problem‑solving capabilitiesExperience building/packaging JVM based projects with a focus on security complianceHands‑on Jenkins experience: shared libraries, declarative/scripted pipelines, Job DSLProficient in GitLab code hosting and CI/CD practicesExperience with containers and container orchestration systemsExperience with IaC, cloud computingExperience with an observability stackNice to haveJava/Springboot projects experienceGitOps proficiency with ArgoCD (ApplicationSets, sync policies, multi-environment promotion)AWS (EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, S3) with production-grade reliability experienceKubernetes workload management, Helm/Helmfile chart authoring, Docker image best practicesTerraform module development and state management for AWS infrastructureMonitoring with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK; Proficiency with secrets management using External Secrets Operator (ESO) with AWS Secrets Manager/SSM.Bank location three (3) or more days per week.Bank is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation practices in line with local regulatory and legal requirements.
