An exciting opportunity for a Forklift driver / Stores Person has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join the team based in Glenrothes. Key responsibilities:
Working to a delivery schedule
Pick/ pack a range of products for dispatch
Booking in/out stock
Work as part of the team from order confirmation through to dispatch
Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with company policies and procedures
Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks and vans, either manually or with the use of forklifts or other equipment
Ensure goods are stored in the correct areas of the warehouse so that they can be easily located when needed
Keep accurate records of inventory and stock movements.
Perform regular checks on forklift trucks and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
About you:
Counterbalance and flexi-truck experience and certificates are essential
Previous experience working within a warehouse environment
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Self-motivated
Demonstrates flexibility
Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively
