Lead Pipefitter / Chargehand | Leith, Edinburgh | Contract Vorera is recruiting an experienced Lead Pipefitter to run the day-to-day pipework installation on a project in Leith, Edinburgh. The role You'll lead a small installation team (pipefitter, TIG welder and labourer), installing carbon steel pipework from drawings and coordinating site activity each day to keep the programme on track. Contract details * Location: Leith, Edinburgh * Start: 30/09/26 * Duration: approx. 10 weeks, until the pipework installation is complete, with potential further work beyond that * Hours: 8 hours per day * Rate: competitive, agreed based on experience * No travel or lodge allowance, so this suits candidates based in or commuting to Edinburgh Essential * CSCS card (appropriate trade) * Proven experience installing carbon steel pipework * Able to read drawings and coordinate day-to-day site activities Desirable * IPAF or PASMA * Abrasive Wheels * Competent with lifting accessories (slings, chain blocks) * Hot Works / Fire Watch awareness * First Aid Interested?
