HGV Class 2 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Birminghamarea.

We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.
* please note an induction/assessment is required for this role prior to starting
- 6am for induction
* Hours : Monday to Friday, 06:30:am Pay Rate: £18.19 per hour PAYE Location: Birmingham, B6 7AX Job Type : Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.

The role:
- Please note that the role will be double manned Multi-drop delivering alcohol to bars/ restaurants within the local area Around 10
- 15 drops per day ensure customer orders are secured and packaged correctly for delivery prior to departure Inform the customer of any order delays, stock shortages or problems Assist with the unloading of customer orders from the vehicle to the customer premises Collect empty kegs/pallets and returns
- when back at Depot ensure they are handled and stored correctly within the Warehouse or yard.

Complete all paperwork/EPOD tasks and any administration tasks Liaise with Transport Management re.

vehicle issues/delays Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

1 years experience on Class 2 Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Full understanding of WTD legislation.

Excellent communication skills.
