You'll work closely with colleagues across the wider UK Pensions practice, giving you exposure to a genuinely national team while remaining part of a growing and collaborative Edinburgh office.The work covers the full spectrum of pensions advice across both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes, including advising trustees and employers on scheme governance, funding, restructuring, transactions and wider advisory matters. The team also has experience across group pensions, master trusts, insurance products, including buy-ins and buy-outs, longevity products and other innovative structures.One of the real strengths of the practice is the breadth of expertise within the team. Unlike many Pensions practices, contentious pensions work is also handled within the department, meaning you'll benefit from exposure to potential litigation issues and a genuinely rounded approach to client advice.This is a key period of growth for this team, with a real commitment to developing its junior and mid-level lawyers.
