PIP Disability Assessor (Full-time or Part-time)

What is on offer as a Disability Assessor? - Excellent starting salary at £39,500pa to £43,692pa - location dependant - Monday to Friday working hours - Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available) - Hybrid working opportunities meaning a nice blend of office and home-based working - 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays + the ability to buy or sell 5 more days + pension - Hybrid/home working available - NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided What does the Disability Assessor role involve? The Disability Assessor role will involve you carrying out 3 to 4 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You’ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 year’s or more broad post-registration experience Competent IT and computer skills Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health Disability Assessor 1
