About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse & Annuities Specialist to join a well-established organisation based in Basingstoke. This varied role combines warehouse operations with administrative support for annuity and contract-related processes, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on and office-based responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of warehouse activities while providing accurate administration and support for annuity-related customer accounts and contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties
Receiving, inspecting and booking in deliveries.
Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels.
Conducting regular stock takes and investigating discrepancies.
Ensuring the warehouse remains organised, clean and compliant with health and safety standards.
Coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments.
Annuities & Administration Duties
Processing annuity documentation and customer records.
Managing contract renewals and ongoing account administration.
Liaising with customers and internal departments regarding annuity enquiries.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Preparing reports and supporting the wider finance and operations teams.
Handling data entry and updating internal systems with a high level of accuracy.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous warehouse or stores experience.
Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience handling contracts, renewals, annuities, subscriptions, or customer accounts would be advantageous.
Competent with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive and professional approach to work.
