Associate Building Surveyor

Associate Building Surveyor / Technical Designer – Southampton.  We are seeking an experience Building Surveyor at Senior to Associate level for our client, a fast growing commercial building and project consultancy with offices nationwide. The role will be working in the Defence team which provides specialist building surveying and consultancy services for clients operating in high-risk, sensitive and security-critical environments. Alongside the core problem-solving, design and advisory skills expected of a leading building consultancy, out client brings deep expertise in protective security and risk mitigation. Capabilities include volumetric security, hardened and resilient structures, and the development of proportionate risk control measures. Working across the defence sector and within the private commercial real estate environment, where assets and occupiers are increasingly exposed to site protection, asset integrity, personnel safety, cyber resilience and logistics-related threats. Roles and responsibilities will include: Protective Security Assessments Hardened Structure Design Volumetric Security Planning Asset & Fabric Protection Personnel Safety Measures Perimeter & Site Security Sensitive Environment Advisory Risk Mitigation Strategies Resilient Asset Design Secure Façade Integration Threat & Vulnerability Reviews The role would suit someone from a Building Surveying, Architectural or a Project Management background.
