Domex is looking for an experienced Appliance Engineer to join our field-based team covering PO, BN, RH and GU postcodes. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Engineer currently working for an appliance manufacturer, domestic appliance repair company or similar service organisation who is looking for a well-established employer, good earning potential and the opportunity to work with some of the industry's leading brands. CCN1 and CKR1 qualifications are essential, along with proven experience repairing domestic appliances, including gas and dual-fuel cooking appliances. Why Domex? The Role As an Appliance Engineer, you'll visit customers in their homes to diagnose, service and repair a wide range of domestic appliances. You'll be responsible for: * Diagnosing and repairing gas, dual-fuel, electrical, laundry and/or refrigeration appliances
* Carrying out servicing and repairs efficiently and to a high standard
* Providing a professional, knowledgeable service to customers in their homes
* Managing your daily jobs through our easy-to-use mobile app
* Managing parts, returns and technical information through the app
* Travelling across the PO, BN, RH and GU postcode areas What We're Looking For: * Proven domestic appliance repair experience – essential
* CCN1 and CKR1 – essential
* Experience working on gas and dual-fuel cooking appliances
* Experience with laundry and/or refrigeration appliances
* A good understanding of electrical theory and fault finding
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* A practical, hands-on approach
* Good communication skills and a professional approach with customers
