Teaching Assistant
Full-Time | Permanent | September Start
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and diverse college team from September on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to support students in achieving their academic potential within a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support lecturers in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students
Assist students with additional learning needs where required
Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Support students with coursework, organisation, and study skills
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Assist with classroom preparation and administrative tasks
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience working with young people in an educational setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach
The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
A Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
