Head of Professional Support Unit - Employment, Pensions and Immigration

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a talented team of Professional Support Lawyers (PSLs), fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Drive innovation in legal content creation – blogs, newsletters, press releases, and digital campaigns.
• Deliver engaging training to clients and colleagues, helping them stay ahead of legal developments.
• Champion technology, managing automated precedent documents and exploring new tools to enhance efficiency.
• Keep lawyers up to date with legislation, best practices, and market trends.
• Support onboarding, ensuring new joiners receive comprehensive inductions.
• Collaborate across teams, working with partners, innovation specialists, and knowledge experts to elevate the national reputation.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with senior-level experience as a PSL or senior lawyer in employment and, ideally, immigration law, and proven experience leading a PSL team.
• Adept at using digital tools and automation.
• Clear communicator with excellent written English and flair for engaging content.
• Strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.
• Open to part‑time working arrangements.
