With a varied workload spanning software contracts, supplier negotiations and technology sourcing projects, this role offers the opportunity to apply your specialist knowledge, strengthen your commercial expertise and make a tangible impact.The Opportunity…Own key technology procurement activities: Take an active role in sourcing across Cloud, IT Infrastructure, SaaS and software, building your experience across high-priority technology categories.Drive value through SaaS and software agreements: Review supplier contracts, identify commercial opportunities and negotiate better terms, strengthening your expertise in complex technology agreements.Turn your technical knowledge into commercial impact: Challenge supplier proposals, uncover savings opportunities and help shape purchasing decisions that deliver tangible business value.Influence technology sourcing decisions: Work across a varied portfolio of technology sourcing projects, giving you the opportunity to apply your judgement, solve commercial challenges and see the results of your work.Expand your procurement expertise: Work closely with the Senior Procurement Manager - Technology and key stakeholders, with exposure to wider indirect categories to broaden your commercial understanding.What They're Looking For…Proven technology procurement experience: Hands-on experience across Cloud, IT Infrastructure and SaaS, giving you the technical foundation to make an immediate contribution.SaaS and software expertise: Experience with software agreements, technology contracts and supplier negotiations, with the ability to identify commercial leverage points and opportunities to improve value.Strong commercial judgement: Confidence reviewing contractual terms, challenging supplier proposals and negotiating outcomes that balance cost, risk and business needs.A practical, adaptable approach: Comfortable switching between technology sourcing projects and day-to-day procurement activities, giving you the flexibility to thrive in a fast-moving environment.Confident stakeholder management: Able to build effective relationships, understand technology requirements and work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver commercially sound outcomes.
