About the RoleThe Methods Engineer (Work Winning) will support the preparation and submission of tenders for large-scale and complex civil engineering projects.The role will focus on developing technical proposals, work plans and project execution strategies, while identifying technical challenges, risks and opportunities. You will work across multiple disciplines and support pre-bid meetings and client presentations.3. The key responsibilities for this Methods Engineer  role are:Analyse tender documents, specifications and technical informationPrepare technical proposals, work plans and risk mitigation strategiesDevelop project schedules, resource plans and budget forecastsIdentify technical challenges and develop practical engineering solutionsSupport the development of project execution plans for underground worksCoordinate with geotechnical, construction and subcontractor teamsProvide technical support during pre-bid meetings and client presentationsPrepare technical and commercial bid documentationMaintain accurate tender records and supporting informationReport on progress, risks and potential issuesManage multiple tender submissions against tight deadlinesAttend project sites and client meetings when required4. Experience required for this Methods Engineer role are:Sound knowledge of civil engineering and construction techniquesExperience preparing technical proposals and work plansUnderstanding of project planning, resource planning and budgetingAwareness of relevant procurement legislationCommercial awareness of different forms of contractAbility to work across multiple tender submissions and meet deadlinesAbility to communicate effectively with technical and operational teams5.
