Planning Manager

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Planning Manager to join the Estates team of a great company based in West Sussex. The Planning Manager will provide strategic planning advice, oversee planning applications, and help guide the development and management of our property portfolio across the UK.

Salary: £64,000 - £66,950 per annum + company car or car allowance

Location: West Sussex - hybrid working

Planning Manager duties:

• Provide expert advice on site development, redevelopment and change of use
• Prepare and submit planning applications, appraisals, and statements
• Appoint and manage external consultants (ecology, highways, heritage, etc.)
• Represent the organization with local planning authorities and key stakeholders
• Monitor local planning policies to protect organisational interests

Skills and experience:

• Accredited degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
• MRTPI Chartered status with 4+ years of post-qualification experience
• Strong track record of successfully securing planning consents
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and commercial skills
