Field Service Engineer

A global leading manufacturing company has a newly created opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join the team in the EH and TD postcode area. They offer package with an OTE of £45k in your first year, a Company van with personal usage, PDA & Mobile Phone, Overtime x1.5, Door to Door payments, Company Pension, 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays and much more Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer You will be in control of the maintenance, service, and repairs of material handling equipment on various customer sites within your postcode area. You will be working with an assortment of equipment including electric trucks. Managing your own work in progress, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately, attend regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment, and be an active team player sustaining the company's prestigious reputation. You will be working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment at their customer sites. Requirements of the Field Service Engineer NVQ Level 3 qualification is essential - Certificates will be required Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or Roadside Recovery all considered. Technical experience in Engines, Electrics (Diagnostics) and/or hydraulics. Salary and Benefits for the Field Service Engineer: OTE circa £45k in your first year Door-to-Door Covering a patch that sits within your postcode area.
