HGV Class 1 Driver - Days | Ongoing | Coventry

SR Drivers are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (CE) Drivers on behalf of a well-established UK manufacturer based in Coventry (CV5). Our client has been manufacturing quality plastic household and garden products since 1978 and operates its own nationwide distribution fleet.

The Role As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:
Trunking between distribution centres and company depots
Delivering and collecting loaded trailers
Trailer swaps
Completing vehicle checks and required paperwork
Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
No handball involved
Shift Pattern Monday to Friday
Day shifts
Start times from 04:00 onwards
Ongoing work available
Pay Rates £16.00 per hour (PAYE)
£17.93 per hour including 12.07% accrued holiday pay
Weekly pay
What We're Looking For To be considered, you must have:
Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive
Professional and reliable approach to work
Must have a minimum of 2 years Class 1 driving experience
