Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour Contract: Permanent & Temporary Opportunities Shift Pattern Week 1 * Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday – 8:00am–8:00pm or 8:00pm–8:00am Week 2 * Wednesday, Thursday & Friday – 8:00am–8:00pm or 8:00pm–8:00am This fixed two-week rolling rota offers consistency and supports a healthy work-life balance, with every other weekend worked. About the Service We are recruiting experienced Senior Care Assistants for a purpose-built residential and dementia care home supporting up to 67 residents aged 65 and over. Care is provided for individuals living with dementia, sensory impairments, Parkinson’s disease, stroke-related conditions, palliative care needs, and those requiring respite or long-term residential support. Key Responsibilities * Lead and support the care team during shifts. * Deliver high-quality personal care and promote resident independence. * Administer or oversee medication in line with company procedures. * Support mobility, transfers, and safe moving and handling practices. * Monitor resident wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately. * Maintain accurate care records, risk assessments, and documentation. * Support residents living with dementia and respond effectively to changing needs. * Liaise with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. * Mentor and support Care Assistants within the team. * Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and CQC standards. Essential Requirements * Previous experience within residential, nursing, or dementia care. * Senior Care Assistant experience or proven leadership skills within care. * Medication administration experience preferred. * Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills. * Person-centred, compassionate, and professional approach. * Good understanding of safeguarding, care planning, and professional boundaries. * Full right to work in the UK.
