Junior Freight Operator

Right Now Group are recruiting for a Junior Freight Operator to join a well-established logistics provider based in the Sunbury-on-Thames area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in freight forwarding and develop their skills across air, road and sea freight.

Our client is looking for a motivated, organised and enthusiastic individual with a genuine willingness to learn. No previous freight forwarding or logistics experience is required, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Position: Junior Freight Operator
Location: Sunbury-on-Thames
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000

Key Responsibilities of a Junior Freight Operator

Assist with the coordination of import and export shipments across air, road and sea freight.
Support the team with arranging transport, bookings, collections and deliveries.
Help prepare and process shipping documentation and customs paperwork.
Liaise with customers, carriers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure shipments progress smoothly.
Monitor shipment movements and provide updates where required.
