Welder Fabricator

The Role We’re recruiting an experienced Welder Fabricator for a well-established engineering and manufacturing business in the Mansfield area. This is a hands-on role working within a busy fabrication workshop, producing high-quality welded components to customer and production specifications. The starting rate is £16 per hour, with the opportunity to increase to £18 per hour based on skill level, experience and welding capability. Key Responsibilities * Fabricate and weld components to technical drawings and specifications * Carry out MIG/TIG welding to a high standard (depending on skill set) * Operate workshop machinery, tools and fabrication equipment * Measure, cut, assemble and finish metalwork accurately * Work safely and efficiently within a fast-paced workshop environment * Maintain excellent housekeeping and follow all H&S procedures * Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy What You Need * Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator * Strong MIG welding skills (TIG advantageous) * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Confident using fabrication tools and workshop machinery * Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship * Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team What’s On Offer * £16–£18 per hour depending on skill level * Long-term, stable role with progression opportunities * Supportive workshop team * Free onsite parking * Ongoing training and development * Permanent position with a growing engineering business Apply Today If you’re a skilled Welder Fabricator looking for a stable role with great earning potential, apply now or contact Generations People Recruitment Agency for more information
