About the role
This well-established accountancy firm is continuing to grow and is looking to add an Accounts Semi-Senior to the team. The role offers a broad mix of accounts and tax work, including statutory accounts, management accounts and VAT, giving you the chance to build experience across a varied client base.
The position would suit someone with previous practice experience, although graduates with a relevant degree and a genuine interest in accountancy will also be considered. Full study support is available, with the firm offering a flexible approach to working and plenty of scope to develop your experience.

Accounts Semi Senior – About The Role
Working with a varied portfolio of clients, you will gain exposure to a broad range of accounting work and take on increasing responsibility as you develop. The role covers both accounts and tax, giving you the chance to build a well-rounded skill set within practice.
You will work alongside experienced members of the team while also having regular client contact, helping you develop both technically and professionally. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients
Assist with management accounts
Prepare VAT returns
Support personal and corporation tax work
Complete working papers and reconciliations
Deal with day-to-day client queries
Liaise with clients to obtain relevant information
Assist with other accounts work as required
The successful Accounts Semi-Senior will have:
Previous experience within an accountancy practice preferred
Graduates with a relevant degree and genuine interest in accountancy will also be considered
Good understanding of accounting principles
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Organised approach to managing workload and deadlines
Keen to continue developing technically
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
