Assembly and Test technician

Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a skilled Assembly and Test Technician on a contract basis to join their team in Romsey. Key Responsibilities: Conducting Radio Frequency testing of PCBAs and system sub-assemblies using both automated and manual measurement techniques Performing electro-mechanical assembly of designed products Commissioning and final acceptance of full systems prior to delivery to customers Ensuring all products are tested and recorded in accordance with the latest ATP and Test Instructions before dispatch Recording and collating test data for future analysis Contributing to the improvement of internal documents such as Concessions, Test Reports, and Work Instructions Fault finding and repairing non-conforming products Assisting the Manufacturing Lead with site and process improvements, including promoting enhancements to products and systems considering environmental factors Job Requirements: Experience in electromechanical assembly Proficiency in using automated and manual measurement techniques across a range of test equipment Basic understanding of electronic principles Experience in troubleshooting issues on non-conforming products Computer literacy Working knowledge of RF testing is advantageous If you are an experienced Assembly and Test Technician eager to contribute to impactful projects and advance your career in the Defence & Security sector, we encourage you to apply now.
