Are you an Oil & Gas Engineer who enjoys the customer-facing side of your role and has ever considered moving into a more commercially focused position?
Perhaps you're currently working in engineering, field service, applications, projects, operations or technical support. You've built strong technical knowledge, but you're ambitious, good with people and looking for an opportunity to take your career in a different direction.
You don't need previous sales experience.

THE ROLE
Initially, this role is about learning the market rather than chasing a sales target .
You'll spend time getting out into the North Sea Oil & Gas community, meeting customers and building an understanding of their operations, technical requirements and how the company's solutions are being used in the field.
You'll also support technical discussions and presentations, help customers identify the right solutions for their requirements and feed valuable market information back into the wider business.
As your technical, customer and commercial knowledge develops, there will be plenty of scope for the position to grow with you, including the potential to take on wider international responsibility.
THE PERSON
We're looking for someone with a technical background in the upstream Oil & Gas industry who feels ready for something different.
You might currently be a Field Engineer, Service Engineer, Applications Engineer, Project Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or working in another technical role where you've gained good exposure to customers.
You don't need to be a salesperson. What we're looking for is someone who likes dealing with people and can see themselves building a career around that strength.
You'll be technically credible, naturally inquisitive and interested in understanding how customers operate and the challenges they face. You'll be confident communicating with experienced Oil & Gas professionals and capable of building strong relationships.
You'll also be ambitious, enthusiastic and comfortable taking responsibility for your own work.
