As a care home chef, you'll have the opportunity to cook with purpose-creating meals that truly make a difference.
You will:
Prepare and serve nutritious, home-style meals tailored to residents' needs
Cater for dietary requirements, allergies, and specialised nutrition plans
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
Deliver high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Enhanced Adult DBS (or willingness to apply - we'll cover the cost)
Food Hygiene & Health and Safety certifications
At least 1 year of chef/cook experience
Knowledge of kitchen safety and manual handling
A caring, patient, and reliable attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery
City & Guilds 706/1 or 706/2
Level 3 Food Safety
Culinary qualifications (BTEC, HND, or equivalent)
