HGV Technician

We’re looking for an HGV Technician to join a commercial vehicle business in Warrington. This is a role suited to someone with at least 5 years’ experience working on HGVs, as you will be carrying out servicing, inspections, fault finding and repairs across trucks and trailers. What’s on offer? * £50,000 - £56,000 per annum * Mon - Fri 6am - 2pm / 2pm -10pm * Every other Saturday 6am - 12pm * Overtime paid at 1.5x * Paid breaks * 20 days holiday plus bank holidays * Standard pension * On-site training * PPE provided * Paid breakfasts * Christmas party * Christmas gift card What will you be doing as an HGV Technician? * Carrying out servicing, inspections and general repairs * Working across trucks and trailers, with around 70% truck work and 30% trailer work * Preparing vehicles for MOT * Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults * Identifying defects and completing the required repair work * Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems * Carrying out basic MIG welding when required What will you need? * At least 2 years’ experience working as an HGV Technician or in a similar role * Level 3 NVQ qualification (desirable) Interested?
