An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Obstetrics Sonographer to join a modern and patient-focused healthcare service in Belfast. We are looking for a professional who combines technical expertise with outstanding patient care and is committed to delivering accurate, high-quality ultrasound examinations.
This role offers the chance to work with advanced imaging technology while supporting women throughout their pregnancy journey.
Main Duties
* Conduct comprehensive obstetric ultrasound scans.
* Assess fetal growth, development, and wellbeing.
* Capture clear and accurate diagnostic images for clinical assessment.
* Communicate findings appropriately and provide an excellent patient experience.
* Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate patient documentation.
* Work collaboratively with consultants, obstetricians, gynaecologists, and healthcare colleagues.
* Adhere to professional, clinical, and regulatory standards at all times.
* Maintain and develop professional knowledge through CPD activities.
Candidate Requirements
* Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography with a focus on Obstetrics.
* HCPC or NMC registration (or eligibility).
* Registration with a recognised sonography professional body (or eligibility).
* Strong understanding of fetal anatomy, obstetric imaging, and pregnancy care.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* High level of accuracy in reporting and record keeping.
* Minimum of 3 years' sonography experience.
* English language proficiency.
Additional Requirement
* Flexibility to travel occasionally to Liverpool for training, meetings, and business-related activities.
