The Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator.
You will support the Land and Property Team, working closely with the two other administrators, within a friendly and busy office.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for a varied role in a fast-paced environment and want to learn about property management administration.
Duties include:
- Providing administrative support and diary management to the team.
- Answering the telephone, taking calls from tenants, contractors and general estate enquiries, and ensuring these are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
- Distributing incoming post and franking daily mail.
Receiving and dispatching parcel deliveries.
- Maintenance of the property database and rent generation.
- Management of rental debtors and collection of rent.
- Preparation of correspondence, tenancy agreements, property particulars and tender packs.
- Ensuring paperwork and agreements are filed accurately, and the filing is kept up to date.
- Preparing legal documents for signature, binding and sending legal documents.
- Coordinating contractors to undertake emergency and planned repairs to the property portfolio in Cornwall, raising purchase orders as required.
- Mapping, including producing new tenancy plans.
About You You will need:
- 5 GCSEs, including Level 4 Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Extensive administrative and customer-service experience, preferably with legal secretary and/or property management experience.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise, and a high degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent IT skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and database management.
- Excellent timekeeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, professional attitude, polite and good levels of personal presentation.
- Flexible and positive attitude.
- Capable of working to the highest standards with integrity, discretion and good humour.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport to travel to and from work, as we are in a rural location, with no access to public transport.
